Project Description
We built an end to end solution in a matter of hours to collect data on the Covid-19 virus to analyse/report on this user-friendly dashboard. We are retrieving live data from a constantly updating web source using a technique called web scraping; running a Python script that gets the data every minute and writes it to the database. The data is modelled and visualized on Looker and by using the platform’s embedded capability, we are able to share the dashboard on this public web page.
